About Me

I am a philosopher of science, and (formal, social) epistemologist whose work is informed by game & decision theory and Bayesian statistics.

Currently, I am a senior fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Philosophy. Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh. I completed my doctorate at the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, at Irvine, supervised by Dr. Simon Huttegger and Dr. Cailin O’Connor. My dissertation was on the social epistemology of science. Previously, I did my master’s in Logic, Computation, and Methodology at Carnegie Mellon University where I was supervised by Dr. Kevin Zollman.

My Erdös number is 3. (By way of Brian Skyrms to Perci Diaconis to Paul Erdös.)
